IDYDC wants to see a community free from disease, poverty, illiteracy and a socially developed society where human rights are respected. IDYDC works to improve the living standards of disadvantaged people in Tanzania’s Iringa region through the establishment of rehabilitation and vocational training centres. The organization also facilitates the establishment of savings and credit schemes and offers programmes on HIV/AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse prevention among the youth, gender, child labor, and the right of the child, through drama and sports.
